Hrishitaa Bhatt (also spelled as Hrishita Bhat) is a Bollywood actress, model. Her zodiac sign is Taurus.She was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
She debuted in the film "Asoka" opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

This cute 'Liril' girl had made her debut with a historical movie "Asoka" starring alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor and proved her mettle as an actress. This is evident in the fact that she was nominated for Best Debut - Female by Zee Cine Awards and the 'Most Promising Female Newcomer' by Screen Weekly Awards.

She was first noticed in the music video "Aankhon Mein Tera Hi Chehra" in which she had Shahid Kapoor as her co-star. Prior to joining the film industry, Bhatt dated actor Shahid Kapoor.

Hrishitaa Bhatt was only 17 years old when "Ashoka" was offered to her. At the time she was not even sure that she wanted to do films. She signed "Ashoka" because she was keen to work with Santosh Sivan and was keen on playing the deglamorised role of a Buddhist.

She has began her career with "Liril Campaign". She is the Liril girl who with her cute smile first made it big in music videos and ads. Hrishita Bhatt was taking dancing lessons from famous choreographer Shiamak Davar .Soon she was noticed as Shiamak Davar student and it worked wonders for her bringing music albums and endorsements, which include the famous Liril soap, that launched Preity Zinta's filmy career.

It was this ad film that attracted the attention of first-time director Gurudev Bhalla and made him sign her on opposite Abhishek Bachchan in 'Shararat'. Next, Shahrukh Khan was smitten by her beauty and ended up signing her for his magnum opus 'Asoka'.Hrishitaa Bhatt is a model-turned Bollywood actress.
